Attorney Danielle Rosché of Feldman Feldman & Associates is representing two dreamers recently picked up in San Diego. These two sisters entered the US when they were ten and eleven years old and have been living here for over ten years. They graduated from high school here, and are attending college while helping to support their mother and autistic brother. With no criminal record, these two girls are model Americans and poster children for the DREAM Act. A recent policy change at Immigration and Customs Enforcement may allow them to avoid deportation, but it remains an open question how the policy from Washington will be implemented on the ground. The additional unfortunate reality is that even with this new policy they would not be given any lawful status. Follow the link for the Spanish language Univision coverage of their story.
